"Leaves of 3, let it be" is a good start, but to reliably and quickly identify poison oak you need images. This app teaches you to tell the difference between poison oak and other similar looking plants; at first you'll make mistakes, but you can repeat the training on all the examples you got wrong. This kind of active learning is much more effective then passively browsing a catalog of poison oak photos.
